Wireless Android Auto Setup & Troubleshooting

Get your Soundz Wireless Android Auto Interface connected to your Skyline OS radio. Start with the setup video, then find the manual, troubleshooting steps, and interface update below.

This guide is for the Soundz Wireless Android Auto Interface used with Skyline OS. The firmware download below is for that interface, not the Elite BE920WCPA.HD radio.

Troubleshooting

Capture an error log

If the interface will not connect, these steps collect a log for Soundz Support.

  1. When the device cannot be connected, insert a USB flash drive, wait for ten seconds, and then remove the USB flash drive.
  2. Compress the generated Autolog folder into a ZIP file.

Request tech support and mention that you have an Autolog ZIP. We’ll tell you how to send it.

Interface firmware

Update your Android Auto interface

Use this download for the Soundz Wireless Android Auto Interface described above.

Download interface update (ZIP)

  1. Download the “Update” folder to your desktop.
  2. Power on the device.
  3. Copy the files to an SD card.
  4. Once the copy is complete, insert the SD card into the device to transfer the files.
  5. After the file transfer is complete, remove the SD card from the device’s slot.
